Black Mountain Warmbloods is a small sporthorse breeding farm located on 1200 acres in the coastal town of Pt.Reyes. Since the start of our breeding program we have worked hard with trainers, vets, judges and fellow breeders to develop a system that will allow our horses to thrive and become tomorrows stars in the ring. We strongly believe that horses are happier and healthier when growing up and living in pastures. Each mare and foal at our farm is turned out with other mares and foals in large 10-20 acres pastures daily. Each of our pastures offers small rolling hills and provide enough grass for year round grazing along with crystal clear water.
Our foaling facilities are set up in 12x 24 foaling stalls. Each foaling stall is equipped with heat lamps, fans and video monitoring. We have carefully developed our breeding program to provide each horse the with best care,nutrition and training that will ensure long term soundness and success.
Our mare band is a group of Elite , Premium and Champion mares that have been selected based on performance, production, bloodlines and conformation. With a strict criteria for broodmares, we have worked with top trainers, breeders and farms to find these mares and are proud to offer foals from them.
